#Practice 7: Analysis of multimedia communication projects: 50FCOM

This blog talks about the 50th aniversary of the Faculty of Communication of Navarre. It explains the main facts that happened in the last half century.
  •  How is the structure solved?
It is devided into six sections: "Página principal", "1958-1968", "1969-1978", "1979-1988", "1989-1999", "2000-2008", "Actualidad 2009" and "Sugerencias". Each section is at the same time divided into more sections. For example, "Página principal" is divided into "Alumnos FCOM", "Presentación", "Edificio", "Galería fotográfica de FCOM" y "Créditos". At the top of the page is located the title: 50fcom. At the bottom of the page on the left side there is a little section describing the pricipal aim of the blog.

  •  Which information formats have been used in each section?
At the "Página principal" we can find two videos from youtube. In each section, there are texts. Those texts are accompanied by different photos that describe the facts explained by the text. Besides, there are lots of links that direct you to the source of information.

  • What other resources, such as chronologies, maps, infographics, photo galleries and videos, etc. have been used?
As said before, there is an entire section dedicated to a photo gallery: "Galería fotográfica de FCOM". It includes pictures of estudents, lecturers, the building... etc.The main sections are organized chronologicaly, so it looks like a timeline. And, as said before, in the "Página principal" we can find two videos: one of an interview and other with a sequency of photos of the faculty.

  • How can the users participate? What kind of interactivity and navigation mechanisms are provided?
You don't have a lot of opportunities of participating. You just can make suggestions at the section "Sugerencias" by sending a kind of email or you can post a comment at the same section.

  •  How is the content being updated?
There is not a clear proof of updating . Once the proyect was made, there is not a weekly or monthly update (or unless it is not specified).

  • Does the project include social media resources (Web 2.0)? Which ones and what´s their purpose?
In the "Página principal" section, "Créditos", we can find a list of social nets and webs where the same topic is developed:
